Hello, my name is Robyn Low and I'm so happy you've come to my website today. So how did I end up as a massage therapist? Well, after working in corporate America for over twenty years, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream as a healer. I've always been amazed by the ability of the human body to heal itself, provided it's given the proper tools and any barriers to healing have been removed. I was tired of seeing chronic pain sufferers being handed a prescription for pain medication and/or muscle relaxants and sent on their way. I believe there is a time and place for this type of treatment, but it doesn't have to be the first and only solution.
With the support of my incredible family, I attended the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY and graduated with honors. I am also nationally certified through the NCBTMB and a member of The American Massage Therapy Association. My continuing education training to date includes Level I and Level II Reiki certifications and orthopedic massage training with James Waslaski.
Besides being a massage therapist, wife and mother, I'm also a competitive athlete who understands the importance of keeping one's body in optimal condition. As a former NY state racquetball champion and professional racquetball player, and currently a competitive cyclist, I know how devastating, both physically and mentally, an injury can be. I also know how beneficial the effects of massage can be in both rehabilitating injuries and preventing them in the first place.
If you would like additional information about me, including my educational background and approach to massage therapy, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
